Lori brings decades of experience as an early childhood educator, director, consultant, coach, instructor, and presenter. She understands the daily realities of classrooms and programs—and the vision, care, and systems it takes to help them thrive.

Every partnership begins with listening. Together, Lori and her clients identify what matters most, build on existing strengths, and create responsive next steps that feel meaningful, manageable, and true to their community.

My Story of Belonging

A journey of relationships, growth, and purpose.

For twenty years, I was the person who welcomed others. Then my family moved from Cleveland to Columbus, and suddenly I was on the other side of the welcome. I found myself wondering: Would someone know my name? Would someone notice me? Would someone help me find my place?

I was searching for belonging.

That experience reminded me that belonging is one of our deepest human needs. It is more than being welcomed through the door. It is being known, valued, included, and needed.

New roles, new learning, and new relationships changed my lens. Belonging was no longer simply something I taught—it became something I understood differently. Today, that understanding shapes how I see children, families, educators, leaders, and the communities we create together.
